Another cold week with plenty of rain... even got another cold! so will be a very quiet weekend this weekend I am sure . It was Sarah-Janes birthday today.. 1 year old.

Barbed Wire...

I wish I had my flash on to lighten it up in the shadows... though Brad really likes this picture with just the light from the sun highlighting the rusty wire.

While I walk about 3 hours a week... it's on the flat and walking up hills like the Papamoa hill starts to take its toll!! :-) LOL was hard work!

Wow.. what a cold day here in Tauranga on Queens B-day.

Went for a walk up the Papamoa hill before going to BayFair for some Sushi.

I got Brad to run up and down the pathway so I could get some photos. The weekend was spent doing lots of house cleaning and even managed to wash the bottom story windows.

What started as a fantastic weekend weather wise soon turned to custard!... A few min before the rain set in on Sunday after a very sunny Saturday I was able to get a few photos of Mike and Emilys children across the road from me...

Also managed to get a few family shots in.. though very hard to get a 1 year old to keep still!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Mt Maunganui Main Beach

Was a great weekend.. time spent with my son Brad over at the Mount beach on Sunday and got to hear about and then walk on the new harbor bridge and see/hear how it was made.

I havent been out of Tauranga for a while.. was planning to go this week some where but I start a new role/project with my work for the next 6 weeks as a Business Adviser in a Recession Recovery programme. Once this is up and running will be going away for a week as I sure could use the break.

Fregerson Park

Wow.. has been so long once again since I have taken any photos!.. so am going to get back into it again from now :-).... Time to get back out in the weekends and visit the so many parks and walks we have around here.

I was out this weekend at Fergerson Park just down the road from where I live. The water was soo nice.. would have been great to get out fishing.

Has been a fantastic sunny weekend here in Tauranga for the Jazz Festival over the Sat/Sun/Mon both in town and the 17th Ave Village. Plenty of great music with my fav band 'Shaken not Stired' playing late in the afternoons.
