Fregerson Park

Wow.. has been so long once again since I have taken any photos!.. so am going to get back into it again from now :-).... Time to get back out in the weekends and visit the so many parks and walks we have around here.

I was out this weekend at Fergerson Park just down the road from where I live. The water was soo nice.. would have been great to get out fishing.

Has been a fantastic sunny weekend here in Tauranga for the Jazz Festival over the Sat/Sun/Mon both in town and the 17th Ave Village. Plenty of great music with my fav band 'Shaken not Stired' playing late in the afternoons.

Wow! Where did 2008 go!

It's 2009!.. quite hard to beliv really.. I have been really slack on here so this year will get back into it again... spend some weekends out and about and take some photos...

We had some boat racing here in Tauranga on the water front... These boats are pretty impressive as they race past at 160 mile an hour.. I got plenty of great shots but I really love these couple of photos of one boat gliding into shore after shutting down the motor and the other racing along past me

Karting in Tauranga

Has been such a great weekend weather wise here in Tauranga. I took Brad into town and we watched the Kart racing through the city streets - some of the carts reaching up to 130km.

Made a great Tango movie and put it on youtube this week! and one day soon will have to set up my camera on timer and get a nice photo of a Tango dance pose!

...Has been a nice relaxing week this week. I have had the week off and just as well as needed to recover from all that dancing I did in the weekend!

I dont think my body can keep up with 3 nights in a row dancing ! hhhmmmm I might be showing my age here!!... :-) Just too much salsa I guess and not enough Tango.

Went for plenty of walks this week and went over to Rotorua for the day. Finding it a challange to go to places I been in the past and take new photos. I guess it's trying to find a different angle each time

A couple of photos here are taken from round the Mount looking at the main beach... then at one of the lakes in Rotorua looking out from the jetty at the moored boats out to the lake.

Well has been a quiet weekend so far... Went to the beach for a walk around the Mount - and took quite a few photos of a top that a friend has designed to be used in some labels.

Went to the beach and then Bay Fair with Emily, Bella and Brad for some Sushi for lunch and then off to Tango later today in town.. so all a bit quiet :-)

Rotorua Lion/Trout Park

Went to Rotorua with my Bro and his daughter to go to the lion and trout park. Had some great bush walks - plenty of large trout and animals.

The lions were pretty cool to see and you were able to get about 6 inches away from them!
