Hey the rain is over!.. well maybe :-)


So nice to have a fine saturday and a chance to get into my garden - pull a few weeds and tidy up the section.

Hope to be fishing next week...or if not, are planning a day trip out of Tauranga so will have a few photos to post.

Nice to see Chloe and Sarah-Jane who came around to visit today.

Was a busy week at work.. Tried to get a few photos for a new brochure in our computer classroom.. the morning shots didn't turn out that flash at all! so orginised some more students in the afternoon and hopefully the photo will be used. I enjoy taking the photos as I have done in the past for other brochures

Fantastic to see the sun today :-). Brad had a rep game today so took my camera along for a couple of shots. I love this shot as catches him leaping up to head the ball.

Has been a quiet weekend, just soccer on Saturday and Sunday.. Off to tango shortly for some dancing..aalways lots of fun.

Another Wet Tauranga Weekend/Saturday

All pretty crazy really this weather, I think it is about 6 weekends in a row that it's rained!!! - Well Sunday has turned out fine! Off to watch Brad play soccer most of the day.

Went out for a drive with Brad and thought we would see if there were any fish around the jetty down at the marina....But there were not! :-)

Hope to go fishing with a mate out Thames way next week so I hope the wind stays away. Will be good to get out, catch a few fish and have a couple of days off work

Sitting in a bar having a wine in Wellington...

Wow... Wellington City is such a busy place compaired with little old Tauranga!... Was sitting in a bar watching as bus after bus went crusing past. Not quite the same being in the city on your own :-) so hope to go back for a weekend and explore more of the city one day with a friend.

I managed to get a shot of the Bee-Hive (parliament building) in the distance (photo below). This was taken on the wharf just up from the Te Papa museum.

Was a great flight back to Tauranga today, flying above the clouds, it looked liked the North Island was all covered in snow! Very Impressive... Yea an I didnt take a photo of it either!

Wellington--- and it's not raining!!!

Can you belive it!!! It stopped raining for a few days... and that's in Wellington!

I had a couple of days there this week so got to go for a walk along the waterfront in the evening. I missed a few really good shots as I never had a small tri-pod with me and my night shots just had way too much shake on them even though I tried to steady the camera on a post!

Well I can't belive we have had soo much rain!.. It's been so hard to get out and about and do a few day trips and take some photos.... So havent put any new photos on here again!!!. I havent been up to much, though I have spent a bit of time dancing in Tauranga on Sunday and Monday nights the Argentine Tango. It's so much fun :-) Decided to start teaching with a friend some basic moves in town after putting an add in the paper.

Looking forward to going back to Taupo for a few days soon.. need a bit of a break! well a trip overseas would be nice but hey... that can wait... Taupo will have to do for now. Just so much to do and see... some great walks and always nice to sit out on the lake front with a wine. Was at the races at Christmas and got a few good shots of the horses. Real interesting to go back to the stables and watch the horses getting ready for their races..

Well, It sure has been a long time since my last blog!! well my last photo!... I just havent taken any good shots of late, or just havent really got out anywhere to take any photos.

Anyway have decided to get back into it again, get the camera out and get back to what I like to do. :-) Much rather take photos of people, so hopefully will start that soon :-)

Was out walking round the Mount with my son Brad on Sunday. At last a weekend without rain!
